This year’s UC Day was held May 26.

UC Day in Sacramento is the one time of the year when all nine UC alumni associations come together with their alumni, donors and friends to carry our voice to Sacramento and discuss with their elected representatives issues of concern to the University. It also is the only time when the UC systemwide "family" comes together in one room to acknowledge UC's academic excellence and its contribution to the state.

For the last several years, top UC undergraduate student researchers have been honored. Again in 2004, UC students participated in the poster competition. They were recognized for their achievements during the UC Day reception. Undergraduate research will tell you more about the 16 students who were selected.

Several prominent California legislators were honored at the UC Day reception as the recipients of the AAUC “Legislator of the Year” award.
